The role
We are hiring a Pre-Sales Engineer in Luanda to support Flarehawk opportunities across Angola. You will work with prospects, customers, partners, and the Vigilbase commercial team to understand security needs, shape solution fit, and help move deals from discovery to close.
What you will do
Lead technical discovery for Flarehawk opportunities.
Translate customer security, infrastructure, and compliance challenges into clear solution proposals.
Support demos, proof-of-value conversations, workshops, and partner/customer meetings.
Work closely with sales to qualify opportunities, define next steps, and remove technical blockers.
Build trusted relationships with technical and business stakeholders.
Feed market requirements and customer feedback back into the Vigilbase and Flarehawk teams.
What we are looking for
Experience in pre-sales, solutions engineering, cybersecurity, networking, cloud, or infrastructure.
Strong customer-facing communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics.
Working knowledge of security operations, cloud security, application security, network security, or related platforms.
Interest in AI-native security tooling and fast-moving regional cybersecurity markets.
Commercial judgment: you understand how technical work supports pipeline, deal progression, and customer trust.
Professional English; Portuguese is a strong advantage for Angola.
Nice to have
Experience selling or implementing cybersecurity services in Angola or Southern Africa.
Hands-on experience with SIEM, SOC tooling, endpoint/security monitoring, incident response, cloud security, or security operations workflows.
Experience with AI-enabled or automation-heavy security tools.
